Alex Forget

Physiotherapist Resident

Alex Forget is a Physiotherapist Resident in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He holds a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education with a specialization in Health Promotion from Laurentian University, Sudbury (2019), as well as a Master of Health Sciences Physiotherapy degree from the University of Ottawa (2022).

Alex is fluently bilingual (French & English) and plans on expanding his therapeutic training through continuing education courses. Alex was born and raised in the Greater Sudbury district and grew up a multi-sport athlete playing competitive hockey and baseball.

He strongly believes in a patient-centred approach to help his clients maximize their rehabilitation goals. In the near future, Alex is looking to pursue additional training in manual and manipulative therapy along with dry needling to continuously improve his treatment skills to benefit his patients.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture assists in providing your body with an optimal environment for tissues to heal quickly and naturally by stimulating the repair process at the site along with providing long lasting effects of pain reduction and reduced inflammation.   At Livemax, we implement acupuncture as a pain management method and as an approach to restore proper functional movement while maximizing the body’s natural ability to heal itself. The effects of acupuncture can be further enhanced by adding an electrical stimulation to the acupuncture needles similar to T.E.N.S. and I.F.C. units.

André is considered by many to be on the leading edge of chiropractic and sports therapy advancements – someone who not only helps with back and neck ailments but can assist to any body injury. He has a Graduate Honours Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor and is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. He also has an acupuncture certificate from the Acupuncture Council of Ontario. André’s clients praise him for his friendly demeanour and full commitment to their overall health and well-being.

Daniel Bélisle

Registered Massage Therapist

Dan is a registered massage therapist and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. His clients have ranged from senior citizens to professional athletes. He offers therapeutic massage blending Swedish massage with deeper connective tissue techniques, active stretching and joint mobility work. Dan is a certified Myo-Skeletal Alignment therapist. He creates a treatment that will suit your specific needs and has had excellent results with chronic lower back and neck issues. He firmly believes that massage therapy is the proverbial “ounce of prevention” when it comes to sports and training related injury as well as stress related conditions.

Carla Bifolchi

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner & Registered Kinesiologist

Carla graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Honours in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. She also studied Osteopathy and is a graduate from the Osteopathic College of Ontario. Carla has always had a passion for hands on therapy, and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy provide an alternative in the treatment of a variety illnesses and injuries using the body as a guide. Her experience working in Physiotherapy clinics as well as in hospital settings has given her added tools in the treatment of various physical issues. The blend of hands on techniques to decrease pain and increase movement, as well as using rehabilitative exercise helps to promote optimal health and body function.

Krista Zdyb

Registered Massage Therapist

Krista Zdyb is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been practicing for 9 years. She works with a variety of age groups from young children to senior citizens and always enjoys the positive emotional and physical effects of massage. Each treatment, is individually designed to meet the clients needs whether it be for relaxation or a specific ailment. She is presently, working towards her Bachelor of Science in Manual Osteopathy from the National Medical University.

Chrystal Prosperi

Physiotherapist

After graduating from the University of Toronto in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Chrystal returned to her hometown of Sudbury to begin work as registered physiotherapist. She began her career providing rehabilitation services in a private orthopedic practice, then shifted her focus to the rehabilitation needs of older adults. In 2010, Chrystal completed training in Combined Decongestive Therapy, and subsequently added the treatment of lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation to her varied practice. Chrystal uses manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, manual therapy and compression as part of her treatment plans, and is an ADP authorizer for compression garments. Chrystal is passionate about providing the best care possible for her patients, and provides an individualized, one-on-one approach to treatment.
